Fish Eye 8c for Muriel Sarkany
It has been quiet around Muriel Sarkany the last few months, but it was for a good reason. After having sent the first female Belgian 8c+, she dedicated her time to a strict training regime to consolidate her progression to the highest levels.
Last week, the 38-year-old Belgian sent Fish Eye, a very long 8c of 50m in Oliana, Spain. “I am super happy” Muriel tells us. “After some wrist problems leading to a month of forced rest in December, I could slowly start again in January. I still had some niggling pains in my wrist. This route made me feel as if I didn’t have any injuries. I felt in shape again.” So we can expect more news from Muriel the coming weeks.
