German and Austrian alpine clubs to rejoin UIAA

5 September 2013, PONTERESINA, Switzerland: The UIAA - International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation voted unanimously at its General Assembly today to accept the applications of the German Alpine Club (DAV) and Der Verband alpiner Vereine Österreichs (VAVÖ) to rejoin the federation.
