Climbing Marche les dames - help for kiwi climber

Hello,
I am a climber from NZ and am planning a trip to Marche les dames and was looking for any helpful information about climbing there - especially
- is there a local guide book? I have the very old Selected Rock Climbs in Belgium & Luxembourg (yip I realise it won't be in english).
- is there a good place to stay or camp anywhere near?
Any help would be great!
Teall

Hi,

Marche-les-dammes is on military ground, and is actually only available during the weekend and only for Belgians (and even then there is a quotum on the number they admit). I don't know if the guidebook for Marche-les-dammes is still in print, I have not seen it recently. But next to Marche-les-dammes (actually it is the same crag) is the crag of Beez, and that guidebook is still on sale in the shops. Also it is not on military ground, and available for all climbers that are member of a foreign (or Belgian) mountaineering club.

Hope this helps,
Jos
