Loic Timmermans in silver at the Youth World Championships in Nouméa

Loic Timmermans ends in a perfect way his youth career. He has been on so many podium since he is a young kid and got this morning his last medal. During the Youth World Championship that took place in Nouméa, the Belgian ended in silver in the Junior category. We didn't expect him at this place. After to sad years on this competition (13th in Singapour in 2012 and 9th in Central Saanich in 2013), Loic manages to get on the poduim miss the highest place by only two holds. It was back in 2010 in Edinburg that he had a such a high ranking. He had also got the silver medal there. During six years in the Youth categories, he didn't manage to get gold on the World Championship but leave very happy.
One that could have hoped for gold was Anak Verhoeven. Missing in New-Caledonia, we will have to wait 2015 and her last year in youth to maybe see her win a gold medal.
Or other younger athletes can give us a lot of hope for the futur. The surprise of this World Championship comes from the B female category. First after the semi-final, Héloïse Doumont ends 6th in the finals. This result isn't the first one that was surprising this year and can gives is good hope for 2015.
We will also notice the good results of our other athletes who made the trip to the other side of the World: Harold Peeters (16th in B male), Nicolas Collin (11th in A male) and Celine Cuypers (23rd in A female).
