There are rarely news on high level climbing in Freyr as there are very few hard sends. The mythical Belgian crag is a place filled with high level routes technically very demanding. Last Friday, Sébastien Berthe managed to send Le Clou, 8c in the Al’legne sector. Upto now one of the hardest routes at the crag. It's been a while that Sébastien has been trying the route and finally made his challenge. Thanks to this performance, he adds up to the short list of climbers who topped it : Nicolas Favresse, Jérôme Abraham and Olivier Favresse. A list that hadn't changed for 10 years despite the attempts of many challengers.
Sébastien can now try all the other hard routes of the sector calling him. To start, he sent the next morning : LadyShave 8a+ and Biggest Bang 8a++ (Slip à Clou + Big Bang).
