Graftiaux off to a bronze start at the World Cup Boulder

Chloé Graftiaux battled with the best during the finals of the World Cup Boulder in Greifensee in Swiss. Eventually, she gained third place. During the finals however, one competitor orchestrated the last league of the World cup; American Alex Johnson only needed one boulder, 4 zones and six attempts to lead her to victory, which was one attempt less than Akyio Noguchi, who won the World Cup last year.

Chloé however, admits: I'm very pleased, it was a great atmosphere and I was climbing virtually stress-free. I'm feeling confident for the next round in Vienna in two weeks time.

It seemed like a very nice start for a series of competitions that will consist of 7 rounds this year. Also the male competitors showed their worth: Austrian Kilian Fischhuber and 17 year old Czeck wiz-kid Adam Ondra fought a close battle until Fischhuber succeeded in making a difference in the semi-finals.
