Before printing think about environment!5-8-2009
Nobody will get the K2 this year. Wim Smets failed in his attempt to reach the summit of the second highest mountain of the World. He won't be the first Belgian to climb the 8.611 meters. Not yet... He turned back between camp 3 and camp 4. Route and weather were to heavy.
Two months after leaving Belgium the disappointment is very big but Wim took the good decision at 7.700 meter. His other teammates did the same a little bit further.
