The climbing humor page
Inleiding
A bit later than normal, but here is our site of the month.... and because holydays are coming up, I chose a rather funny site: "The Climbing Humor Page"....
Content
"The Climbing Humor Page" is a unique compilation for and from climbers that's different because it is not only (far from...) informative. It's got about 20 categoris, like "Funniest/Best Route Names", or "Top 10 'Signs' You Should Not Signup For The Next Denali Trip" or even better (a good know-yourself-test) "Top 10 signs you're a climbing junkie".... Not all jokes are at the same level , but a smile will always be on your face.
The lay-out is not appealing, rather chaotic and just good enough to keep it clear. You will be confronted with links to other hobby-humor pages like "football", "bowling", "beer"(! hmm Belgian) and "skydiving".... you should visit each of them. Do you know why shopping is more interesting than sex??.
Aside the humor, al lot of related reading and links to other pages are provided.
My opinion
The climbing-humor part is rather weak, but I appreciate it because it is the only site about the subject. The bunch of links makes it interesting for the less-humorous amongst us.
I you'd like to, try to contribute and keep smiling!
You can find The climbing humor page on http://www.sportingraphics.com/climb.html
