Mathilde Brumagne sixth in Mokpo

After a minor slump in September, Mathilde Brumagne is in great shape again. This was demonstrated by her stellar results in South-Korea last weekend. Last Saturday and Sunday, South-Korea hosted the 7th of the 9 competitions making up the World Cup Lead 2012. It took place in Mokpo. Our countrywoman reached the finals placed 8th, taking on the best climbers of the moment. From there, everything was a bonus. She ended in sixth place, her best international result this year.
Two Koreans,Ja-In Kim and Hyubin Min landed on the highest march of the podium. For the latter, it was his first victory ever on the men’s circuit.

Next week, all contestants can be found in Japan for the third and last phase of their trip through Asia. The 8th leg of the World Cup Lead will then take place in Inzai.
