This is an organisation of the Club Alpin Belge (CAB) and the Belgian Commission for Competition Climbing - BCCC (technical part).

Klimax

Who can participate?

  • Competitors must be born in or before 1992
  • Younger competitors can obtain a 'wild card' and will compete out of category. To obtain a 'wild card', the trainer or parents have to send a motivated application (= exceptional climbing level, good physical and mental preparation) to Wim Verhoeven.
  • Foreign competitors can participate out of category. Only Belgian competitors can obtain prizes and will be classified in the final result list.

Registration

  • On-line on www.clubalpin.be or at the CAB-office (081/23.43.20 - Mo-Fr from 9.00 till 12.00 AM)
  • Registration closes on the Thursday before the competition at 18.00 hours

Last weekend, it is with a 7th place in Kranj that Anak Verhoeven finishes her first adults international season. Being very regular, the Belgian finishes like she started. With a place in the final. Anak got a 4th place in the general ranking.

Loic Timmermans ends in a perfect way his youth career. He has been on so many podium since he is a young kid and got this morning his last medal. During the Youth World Championship that took place in Nouméa, the Belgian ended in silver in Junior.
