The Belgian Climbing Cup Lead climbing is an organisation of the Club Alpin Belge (CAB), Belgische Alpenclub (BAC) and the Belgian Commission for Competition Climbing - BCCC (technical part).

Who can participate?
- Climbers born in or before 1992
- Younger climbers can obtain a 'wild card' and will compete out of category. To obtain a 'wild card', the trainer or parents have to send a motivated application (= exceptional climbing level, good physical and mental preparation) to Wim Verhoeven ([email protected])

Categories for men and women are identical.
Registration round 1
- On-line on www.clubalpin.be or at the CAB-office (081/23.43.20 - Mo-Fr from 9.00 till 12.00 AM)
- Registration closes on the Wednesday before the competition at 12.00 hours. Registration is open from 22 January 2007.
- There are two groups (9.00 AM and 11.45 AM). While registration you can choose between these two groups. It is impossible to change to another group the day of competition.
Competition Formula
All climbers climb their two routes on sight.

Competition 7th in Kranj, Anak Verhoeven ends up 4th of the World Cup 2014
Last weekend, it is with a 7th place in Kranj that Anak Verhoeven finishes her first adults international season. Being very regular, the Belgian finishes like she started. With a place in the final. Anak got a 4th place in the general ranking.

Competition Loic Timmermans in silver at the Youth World Championships in Nouméa
Loic Timmermans ends in a perfect way his youth career. He has been on so many podium since he is a young kid and got this morning his last medal. During the Youth World Championship that took place in Nouméa, the Belgian ended in silver in Junior.
