UIAA Worldcup Veliko Tarnovo

The first round of the UIAA Worldcup lead climbing (read: difficulty) took place this weekend in Veliko Tarnovo, a magnificent town in Bulgary. More than 60 participants from 22 different nations came together for the beginning of the new international climbing season.
Muriel Sarkany signed for a nice 4th place with her re-entry in competition climbing, one hold after the top 3, who all fell on the same dyno. The Austrian Angela Eiter became first. ChloĆ© Graftiaux, 14th, didn't make it into the finals, as she missed only two holds.
Some surprises in the Men category: neither the Tsjech Mrazek, nore the French Chabot couldn't make onto the podium. Those who could: the Italian Crespi, followed by Dutch Jorg Verhoeven and the Swiss Lachat, back from an injurie!
