Last weekend, it is with a 7th place in Kranj that Anak Verhoeven finishes her first adults international season. Being very regular, the Belgian finishes like she started. With a place in the final. Only the Slovenian Mina Markovic did as well as her by getting to the final round in every competition she participated in. At the end of this last round, with a the points she managed to get, Anak got a 4th place in the general ranking. Getting in to the International Top 5 is a great performance. This performance is generally accomplished after a lot of sacrifices for a high level athlete. In our country, only Muriel Sarkany managed to do better up to now. The improvement of Anak in 2014 are very encouraging for next year. We can hope the she will can closer to the former results of Muriel on the 2015 season.
Ahead of her, the Korean Ja-In Kim wins on the general ranking. As well as the Austrian Jakob Schubert among the men.
By signing his best performance of the season (15th), Loic Timmermans ends 22nd in the general ranking, three places behind his 2013 result where he ended 19th. Stéphane Hanssens and Sébastien Berthe also participated in this last round. They end up respectively 31st and 50th at the end of the competition.
