May 23 2008
Dawa Steven Sherpa, half-Nepalee, half-Belgian, reached the summit of the Mount Lhotse (8516 m) this Wednesday 21th of March at 8h35. This was his third 8000.
He reached the summit of the Cho Oyu by its north face un Fall 2006 and the Mount Everest in Spring 2007. Not bad for 24 years old!
Steven also created the Eco Everest Expedition 2008, a research which studies the impact of global warming on the melting of the himalayian ice. More informations on http://www.nepal-expeditions.com/eco%20everest%202008.htm.
